Minor Characters

Lucy was my favorite character in this novel. I liked her because I can relate to her the most out of all the characters. Never being good enough for you parents and at the same time not really caring what they think anyway. Just dreaming of the day where you can eventually leave and do things on you own.

Taking stock of my work

  1. I think that I told my story relatively well. However, if I were going to change something about my paper it would be where I had an epiphany; I want that part to sound more intelligent. Because the way it is now sounds kind of phony like I ran out of steam.

  2. What I did especially well was that I kept my chronological order in step.

  3. I could still improve my length and the flow from paragraph to paragraph.

  4. I first started my paper by writing ideas down in class; then I went to typing my thoughts down on the computer. Later I had a friend revise my paper, made corrections and handed my paper in.

  5. (refer to number 4)

  6. I did not use pictures in my paper

  7. Other people’s responses did not really influence writing, besides changing some grammar or comma errors.

  8. What I would do differently next time… is to hopefully get assigned a paper that has more restrictions on it and is not so broad in length and quality.

If some one were too see the "dash" in my life they would see mostly laughter and perhaps some love. I'm overall a pretty happy person and laughing is my favorite thing in the world; well besides my dog Bandit. Who ever would look at my dash would also see the colors black, white, and pink because they are my favorites. Also they would see a sister, a daughter, a painter, a friend, a good student, a lover, a niece, a cheerleader, an animal lover, a field hockey player. All of these things would be in my dash, but not in any specific order, just simply scattered about like ramdom clips of my life flashing bye.

I think that this book will allow me to have a broader picture of the world. What I mean to say is that instead of seeing life through my own eyes, I can now see what life is like throught the eye of the character. I am interested to see the imagination and views of our main character.
